Part-Time Van Tran Vehicle Operator

The Van Tran Vehicle Operator is responsible for providing safe, reliable, and efficient public transportation for people who are unable to use Sun Tran's fixed route service.

Applicants must have a valid Arizona driver's license and must possess a clean driving record and a reliable employment history with a strong attendance and punctuality record. A CDL is not required.

Applicants must have a neat appearance and a sincere desire to work with the elderly, people with disabilities and the general public.

Must be available to attend three weeks of training Monday-Friday during daytime hours. Start time will vary.

Current positions available: Part Time, 25-30 hours a week

Rate of Pay: $8.00 per hour during training
$10.35 per hour after training

An Arizona Motor Vehicle Record (for 39 months), issued within the past 30 days, is required at the time of application. You must present your motor vehicle record for your application to be considered.
