Transit Fares Remain Unchanged

On June 17, Mayor and Council voted against the fare increase proposed by the Department of Transportation. The current fare structure for Van Tran and Sun Tran will remain in effect for at least six more months while a council-appointed citizen task force further studies transit issues.
